Arrow Lofts
After over 100 years of being an industrial landmark known as the Arrow Shirt Factory, Auburn Developments breathed new life into the building by rejuvenating it as Arrow Lofts: a modern, stylish condo community that draws on the architecture and fashion of the past while creating a new place to call home in downtown Kitchener.
Auburn Developments worked with the city to maintain the integrity and heritage of the factory exterior, building the upper floors to mirror the original architecture. Great care was taken to preserve many of the distinctive design elements such as the expansive windows, historical columns and exposed piping and brick, while offsetting them with sleek ultramodern finishes.
Arrow Lofts is an award-winning project recognized by the Mike Wagner Heritage Award for it’s urban design and active conservation of the city’s heritage contributing the future success of Kitchener.
